The Combat Jack Show interviews Pharoahe Monch:
“Pharoahe Monch has been a favorite MC of mine for a long time so it only makes sense that we deliver his best interview in existence. In support of his brilliant album ‘P.T.S.D.’ we had an in studio listening session as Monch gave us his most personal interview to date. Who knew he used to carry them blammers? Who knew he was fed a deadly drug cocktail that took him to the edge of insanity? Who knew he was a heavy DipSet fan? Or liked 2 Chainz/ What other MC admits getting murked on his own song? I really enjoyed this session. I hope you do too. Stand the fuck up!”

Peace to Bootleg Kev!!!! This is Collins., and before I heard any music from him, I was told about his music through Twitter. Particularly THIS ONE. And oh yeah, watching “trending” topics for music is always a good look if you love looking for new shit to stick in you ipod. Anyway, the Pheonix, AZ upstart will soon bring his Bootleg Kev hosted project, Sincerely, The Mixtape, on February 14th.
“The song is a sarcastic offering of “typical hip hop”, which has a message that is blatantly delivered through satire and symbolism. The overall message is best portrayed visually in the closing scene, which is a reenactment of the infamous “Printer Scene” from the cult classic film “Office Space”.

Smoke DZA jumped on a track with his smoking buddies Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y, “Legends In The Making (Ashtray 2)” and all three reunited to shoot the official music video with HotNewHipHop. Directed and edited by Armen Soudjian, the visual tells a story of street life with the feds watching. The video portrays all three rappers as clever hustlers teasing the feds as they attempt to bust them.
Looking forward to music from the Kushed Gawd this year.
Dyme drops his latest record:
“This song is the story of an unforgettable musical and party experience involving myself, an attractive female and a setting with great vibes and high energy. In the chorus I wrote the lyrics ‘I flip my birds to the world like a kilo of that White Girl.’ Meaning, I distribute music and creativity to the world like dealers do drugs. Middles fingers in the air expressing myself freely and without doubt or disregard. All while making the ‘white girls’ as well as every Dyme-A-Duzin fan around the world dance and party.”
Dyme’s Hip Hope drops this March…
New one from the young HI rep Prie as he gets Freddie Joachim to lace the record.Peace to 2DBZ on the heads up.
